We came across a photo of Catherine Deneuve in a hat this shape with a pin holding up the brim and could not help but recreate it in and extra fine toquilla straw (otherwise known as panama) It is simple to wear and the brim can be pinned up or down and that straw is so fine it can be mistaken for fabric.
